I am:

1. a sinner, who by the grace and love of Jesus Christ, is saved.
2. a father of three beautiful children.
3. a husband to a beautiful and incredible wife.
4. a web designer living in Central Illinois.

My Story

I originally explored web design in 1999-2001. It was my passion, but fear stopped me from pursuing a degree and career in it.

After going through Dave Ramsey's Financial Peace University class in the Fall of 2010 and reading Jon Acuff's book, Quitter, in 2011, I rediscovered my dream and passion, which is to use web design & development to give people hope and to show them God's love.

I started relearning HTML, CSS, and design principles in the fall of 2011. Other than a very basic, entry-level HTML class at a local community college and various Treehouse videos & quizzes, I am entirely self-taught through books and articles available online. You can see my work here.

I have a tremendous amount of passion for learning and I strive to learn something new, each and every day.
